Sit Back And Enjoy The Lull
It’s that time of year again where Christmas dominates, someone’s complaining about coffee cups, and I’m deciding to reflect on my life. This year has been wild and not truly as fun as I was expecting. There were good things in my life like starting Concept and getting to the root of some of the things I want in life and in certain situations. I also encountered some bad things. There were a lot of things that came to an end, a lot of realizations and a Trump election. But mostly, just like every other year, I’ve been met with uncertainty. This isn’t necessarily bad, but it is interesting. I can always tell when it feels like I’m getting prepped for something bigger in my life.
As I wind down this December, I’ll get to see my family and get a chance to relax. I’ll decide if I’m going to make resolutions for the upcoming year. Ultimately, I’m going enjoy the lull in my cozy socks with a mug of hot cocoa. I urge you to do the same. This month, reflect on the new year and enjoy the lull.
This issue of Concept is going to be all about looking over the past year. The good, the bad, and the ugly. What happened in politics (I know), or amongst schools, in music, in movies, in the restaurant business. How have you grown as a person? Have you reached your goals? Have you learned something? Let us know and send in your pieces.
